A pangram
(Greek: pan gramma, “every letter”), is a sentence using every letter of the alphabet
at least once. Pangrams have been used to display type- faces, test equipment, and develop skills in handwriting, calligraphy, and keyboarding.
“Jaded zombies acted quaintly
but kept driving their oxen forward.”
is an English-language pangram.
Owing to its shortness and
coherence, it has become widely
known and is often used in
visual arts.
